Asura is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Coma Berenices Constellation of the Izar Region.

 
The primary planet of the Asura System is a semi-tropical world, which is one of the population centers of the Izar Region.  The planet experienced growth as colonization was spreading throughout the region.

Asura is an important manufacturing center, the planet is home to numerous large companies and factories.  The planet's critical industry is building short-range and long-range jump ships.  The ships are typically constructed in orbit, using materials that were mined either on the planet's surface, or from asteroids in the system.

Asura B is a dry, warm world that is similar to Mercury in the Sol System.  A few scattered mining colonies have existed on the surface, but were never very profitable.  Most companies have opted to mine asteroids instead, outside the planet's gravity well.
