Chara

 

Chara is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Canes Venatici Constellation of the Inner/Sol Region.

 
Chara is a system that sits less than 30 light years from sol in the Inner/Sol Region.  Chara was an early colony of the Terrans, though failed to initially grow a large population, due to climate of Chara's primary planet.

 

Chara's primary planet needed some terraforming to become fully habitable.  The planet was cold and stuck in an ice age.  Solar reflectors were used to slightly warm the surface shifting the planet's climate.  Through the terraforming activities the planet was made more habitable, though this slowed the planet's population growth.

Chara C is a habitable, terrestrial world.  The planet needed some terraforming to become fully habitable.  The planet was cold and stuck in a permanent ice age.  Solar reflectors were used to slightly warm the surface shifting the planet's climate.
