Idalis

 

Idalis is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Eridanus Constellation of the Fornax Region.

 
The Idalis System's primary planet is a mountainous world once rich in valuable minerals.  The planet's deep valleys were rife with an abundance of arable land.  As the planet quickly developed, over-farming and extensive mining damaged the planet's environment, causing much of the industry to collapse.

 

The planet had seen fast growth, as it quickly ballooned into one the region's powers.  Though it had to completely transform it's economy to stop from a total collapse.  The planet has grown into a technological power, while trying to repair it's damaged ecosystem.
