Summary:

The Katkus System is a small two planet system in the Polaris Region.  The system contains two gas giants both with moons.  The inner planet is a gas giant with 3 times Jupiter’s mass orbiting in the habitable zone.

Katkus B

Oceans of water ice clouds cover this gas giant that orbits in the habitable zone.  The large planet contains the mass of three Jupiters.

Katkus B1

When early observers first discovered the large planet Katkus B they wondered if it might contain a livable moon.  With technological advancements those speculations were confirmed and this moon was placed on top of the list of places to colonize in the Polaris Region.  A small moon covered in oceans with forest blanketed continents.

Katkus C

Planet D sits at a more standard distance for gas giants giving it a slightly warmer than Jupiter temperatures.  The planet is a world with large amounts of water ice and ammonia giving it a white and red appearance.

Katkus C1

An ice and rock moon orbiting planet c.  C1 is something in-between mars and the moons of Jupiter.
