Liris

Liris is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Cetus Constellation of the Cetus Region.

 
The primary planet of the Liris System is a cold world orbiting outside the habitable zone. The planet was established as a mining outpost, off-world companies looked to profit off extracting pockets of valuable gasses that existed deep below the ice.

Initial surveys of the planet revealed deep deposits of gasses valuable located below the planet's layers of ice.  In ultimately unsuccessful attempts to extract the gasses, numerous off-world mining companies nearly went bankrupt trying to extract the gasses.  The numerous large scale mining operations have left scars across the planet's surface.

Liris B
Liris B is a warm terrestrial world that orbits on the inside edge of the habitable zone.  A bit too warm for liquid water on the surface, the planet is composed of various carbon based rocks.
