Narka is a cold, icy world that is rich in rare metals. Numerous mining colonies were established on the surface, ran primarily by off-world companies, along with an enclosed city in orbit.

The profitability of the mines has dwindled over the years, as the easier metals to extract have already been removed, leaving only the deeper, harder to extract reserves. The planet’s population has been shrinking as the off-world companies have closed many of the mines, due to lack of profitability.

Narka B is a hot, terrestrial world orbiting close to the sun.  The planet's atmosphere has been mostly blown away by the star, leaving only a thin layer.  The surface is composed of iron and silicate rock.
