Rathien

Rathien is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Aquarius Constellation of the Capricorn Region.

Rathien's primary planet is a unique world, nearly it's entire surface is covered in a barren desert.  The planet's entire supply of surface water is located in a single, inland sea that cuts like a scar in the crust, running north to south.

The entirety of planet's life exists huddled around the sea.  The desolate, rocky desert, transforms when approaching the region surrounding the sea.  The landscape turns green, the climate becomes more temperate, and life forms thrive.  The planet's population grew within this temperate region.
