Veteris

Veteris is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Centaurus Constellation of the Acrux/Agena Region.

Veteris is a system with a terrestrial world that orbits close to the sun, surrounded by a thick disk of asteroids, comets, and planetoids.  Rich in rare metals, the Veteris asteroids and comets have been mined extensively.  Numerous mining colonies have been established throughout the system's belt.

The Veteris planet orbits close to the sun, it's surface contains lakes and rives of metal liquefied by tidal forces.  A number of small science outposts exist on the relatively cooler, night side of the tidally-locked planet.

Veteris B
Veteris
B is a tidally locked world orbiting close to the sun.  Tidal forces from the nearby sun cause the planets liquid insides to constantly turn inside out, lakes of liquid metal can be seen glowing on the night side of the surface.
