Xaviera

Xaviera (Zav-EE-air-AH) is a five planet system in the Acrux/Agena region orbiting a yellow g-class subgiant star.  The system's sun is starting to evolve off the main sequence and is in the early stages of growing into a red giant.

Xaviera is home to a long established society over 1,000 years old.  Originally the established as a colony during the same period as nearby Paentora, the primary planet's population has since grown into the billions.  Xaviera has been in a long competition with Paentora for being the regions foremost society.  While Paentora has concentrated on spirituality and religion, Xaviera has concentrated on technological advancement.

The system's habitable primary world is called Zavius.  The planet is home to a diverse, multicultural population, spread across the planet's three main continents.

Xaviera Planets

Calderon
Planet B has forever been a dry dead world sitting to close to the sun.  Scorched by the intense heat of the nearby subgiant star this world is a dangerous place for humans, and has little to offer.

Distance: 0.69 AU

Orbit: 210 days

Temp: 353 K

Mass: 1.26 Earth

Radius: 6847 km

Gravity: 1.09 g

Rotation: 28 hours

Veraleon
Xaviera C was once an earth-like world during its youth.  As the system’s sun started to age it grew brighter evaporating the planet’s oceans, turning it into a Venus-like world.  The atmosphere was blown away as the sun grew even brighter becoming a subgiant.

Distance: 1.06 AU

Orbit: 387 days

Temp: 302 K

Mass: 0.07 Earth

Radius: 2850 km

Gravity: 0.35 g

Rotation: 20 hours

Zavius
Zavius the is Xaviera System's habitable world.  The planet's landmasses are separated into three major continents, with ice caps on the northern and southern poles.  Though the planet is slightly cooler than Earth, evidence of periods of extreme cold, where much of the planet was covered in ice, have been discovered.

Distance: 1.74 AU

Orbit: 840 days

Temp: 274 K

Mass: 0.89 Earth

Radius: 6102 km

Gravity: 0.97 g

Rotation: 28 hours

Aldo
Hydrogen helium gas giant with traces of methane and ammonia in the atmosphere.  Aldo is known for its intense lightning storm than can be seen lighting up the night side.

Distance: 7.59 AU

Orbit: 20.9 years

Temp: 110 K

Mass: 1.93 Jupiter

Radius: 75,954 km

Gravity: 4.32 g

Rotation: 10 hours

Azura
Located from the sun, Azura is cold world which radiates only a small amount of heat.  The planet is composed of hydrogen and helium with traces of methane giving it the blue color.

Distance: 21.6 AU

Orbit: 100 years

Temp: 65 K

Mass: 15.94 Earth

Radius: 25,320 km

Gravity: 1.01 g
