Summary:
Located
only 8 ly away, the star Canopus shines brighter than Venus in the skies of the
Zeldawood system. The five planet system revolves around an orange K
class star. The system’s primary world is the forest world of Zeldawood
II. A fairly large population lives in dense urban areas surrounded by thick
forests. A primitive society exists inside the woods living in tribes, they
have little to no contact with the technology advanced cities, and most don’t even
know they exist.

The
inner, hot, rocky world of Zeldawood I. There is no atmosphere on this world
creating a vacuum on the surface. What little resources exist on this planet
are difficult to extract because how close the sun is.

The
only habitable world in the Zeldawood system, this planet orbits in the thin
life zone of a fairly dim star. The planets lack of any large mountain
ranges leaves the continents flat and covered in dense forests. Nearly the
entire planet has a temperate climate, though sections of the planet are
susceptible to extreme droughts. Zeldawood is a world of contrasts; on one
end large cities rise out of the forests and are home to millions. On the
other end a primitive society lives in the dense woods unaware of their
urbanized neighbors.

This
frozen world would be an Earth twin if it sat closer to the star, instead
it’s a cold dead world covered in ice. Red sections of iron oxide dust cover
areas of old ice while the new ice looks white.
