Schemalian Prime
(skee-malee-uhn) is a
planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star. The system lies in
the Cetus Constellation of the Schemali Region.
Schemalian Prime is the regional center of the
Schemali Region. The system’s primary planet is
a habitable, terrestrial world with a distinct
set of rings, a rare world throughout the Inner
Sphere.
The
planet has a long history of human settlements
dating back to its discovery by the Aurorians.
Throughout much of its history though, the
planet’s societies were relatively primitive
based off the current standard of life in the
Inner Sphere.
A period of rapid technological growth occurred
known as the Schemali Renaissance, forever
changing the planet and the region. The Schemali
Renaissance started when colonists from the
nearby Cetus Region migrated into the Schemali
Region while searching for new worlds. They
brought a vast amount of new technologies
causing Schemali Prime and the surrounding
region to transition from its long-standing,
primitive society.
Schemalian Prime has grown
into one of the powers of the Inner Sphere. The
people of Schemalian Prime are often considered
arrogant about their rapid progression into an
technological and political power, they are
proud of what they’ve accomplished in a short
period of time.
