Zelinia is a
planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star. The system lies in
the Cepheus Constellation of the Borealis Region.
Zelinia is a world that has gone through a
transformation. The planet was Once the
industrial and manufacturing center of the
region. Pollution covered much the land, while
dilapidated cities stretched out along the land
masses. Major reforms went into effect during a
period locally known as The Awakening. Their
goal was to diversify the economy and clean up
the planet.
The
planet saw major changes during this period, the
economy changed from industrial based to
technological. A new capital city named Osiris
was built on shores of the Xanthus Ocean, Osiris
signified the rebirth of Zelinia. The
world became the region’s center for
technological advancement, specifically in medical research and development
where vast resources were disbursed.
The air was cleaned through strict environmental
controls.
Zelinia is now known for one of the highest life
expectancy rates in entire Inner Sphere. A high
quality of life and wealth for its population
have followed, a far cry from the planet’s
darker history.
